There is no one way to define the word ‘Mother’

A Mother or a Mother figure could be a sister caring for her sibling, an uncle looking after his nephew, and a father raising his child or children due to circumstances beyond his control.
A neighbor taking on the responsibility of a mentoring parent
A ‘Mother’ does NOT have to be the same ‘DNA’

A mother is one that:
·        Shows empathy, listens,
·        Willing to go the extra step to see that your needs are met not necessarily all you want/desires.
·        Give encouragements, your first cheerleader!
·        Tell you when you are wrong – no such thing as a free lunch!
·        TOUCH LOVE - Helps too!
·        Dinner and family discussions on life lessons, refinement, current events, culture and religion
·        Make sacrifices for the loved ones
·        Shows patience, teach forgiveness and to be respectful toward others and siblings.

·        Up early morning hours caring of the fever that will not break or
·        the late night waiting for the child to return from an outing with friends.
·        try to shield you from pitfalls
·        To help you
·        Guide you the best they know how – after all there is no real blue –print to motherhood. Many learn as they go
·        Others reply upon mentors, family, grandma, grandparents, for guidance.
·        Note: Some of the learning past down was learn as you go!  Hoping that all - in – all, you would learn how to amidst turmoil.  Your will have strength and tenacity to move forward and not give up!
·        Seek G-d for guidance and grow with Him as your anchor.
·         It was through the grace of G-d that ‘each one- teach one’ from one generation to the next.

·        Perhaps all the qualities were not apparent to you – ‘move on’
·        and focus on the few that were felt.

·        The blueprint- Create a blueprint for you, your child, grandchild, siblings. Create the things you felt lacking as a young adult.’ Create your blueprint and let go! ‘Without trying there could be no learning…’

So, to all the Mothers, guardians, mentors, neighbor’s, sibling rising siblings, fathers raising children, spiritual leaders being a mentor, and uncles and aunts raising nieces and nephews…

Today and always we
CELEBRATE YOU!

HAPPY MOM’S DAY
