National Gratitude Month 2021

Being Thankful

1. For what are you thankful?

2. List 5 things for which you are thankful?

3. List 5 things you would like to improve upon?

4.  List 3 things in the world, school, or work that you would change or prefer to see changes?

A.   List two positive thinks about you?

B.   List one not so good character traits that you desire to improve upon.

With so much happening around us, being thankful is something to look at closely. We listen to the news, and read on social media sites everything from injustice, racial unrest, politics - good, bad, or in difference, pandemic increases, and number of lives loss increase. Here and around the world.

In 2020, I lost my father. No, not from Corvid -19. But while he lay in bed in the hospital for those days leading up to his demise. We, were not allowed to see him, visit with him. That was tough.

So, what is there to be thanks for? Still a lot!

Gratitude Attitude of Positive Thinking

Having a cheerful outlook and being polite (exhibiting good manners) will take us places where money will not!

Strength, Confidence, Courage, and Endurance all comes our way when we speak it!

Set up a vision board for yourself.

Call it as if it already were happening! I am - you are: Resilient, Healthy, Talented, Beautiful, formidable student getting good grades, and so forth…

As my sister would always say make a bulletin or vision board around the room. Each morning speaks it, call it, say it, as you mean it, and:

  • ·        Speak life into your life
  • ·        Positive energy into your life
  • ·        Blessing in abundance
  • ·        Not defeat and negative energy
  • ·        Don’t tolerate or settle for negative talk or energy around you

·        Stay positive – Safe focus!
