Colon Cancer Awareness
March was Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Let's delve into
what we should know or learn about this important topic!
It's Colon Cancer Awareness Month: 45 Is the New 50
Colon cancer is one of the most diagnosed cancers in the
United States, but there is a 90% chance it can be treated if caught early. A
colonoscopy, or other related screening tests, can help your doctor detect the
cancer early enough that it may be cured.
If you are 45 years or older, have a family history of colon cancer, or have other conditions that put you at risk for colon cancer, then you should speak with your doctor about getting screened.
